| The Employee Ownership Foundation supports
programs designed to promote and ensure the credibility of the employee ownership concept
with business owners, investors, educators, and the public. As confidence in the concept
increases, so too does financial commitment to it. The future viability of employee
ownership depends upon the ability to keep key segments of Americas leadership
structure, and the public, well-informed about the power of employee ownership. The Foundation agenda for communication and information includes supporting
initiatives in the following areas:
- Developing and disseminating sound economic data
demonstrating the extent of current employee ownership investment and projecting future
capital requirements.
- Designing communications strategies to help improve public
understanding and support of employee ownership.
- Providing knowledgeable well-prepared spokespersons with the
information necessary to inform the public, the media, civic and special interest groups
about the benefits of employee ownership.
- Development of multi-media materials which promote the value
of employee ownership.
